Jesús Pérez-Valero got his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in 2019 and 2020, respectively, from the Universidad Politécnica
de Cartagena, which ranks 300-350 worldwide according the Young University Rankings THE. As a result of his M.Sc. thesis,
he published two papers at highly recognized journals. After finishing his M.Sc.,
he started his Ph.D. at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. During his studies, he did two stays abroad
(in Finland and Germany) and worked for two funded projects (a national and a European project). Jesús has received a number of prestigious grants and awards
for his academic achievements. His main research interests lie in the performance analysis and optimization of communication systems.
