18.7.  Self-assessment questions

Check with these questions if you understood the document on collaborative work

  1. The main characteristics of team work is:

    • Each one of the team members accomplished the assigned tasks. The team meetings are used only to put together the individual contributions

    • The work is done only during the team meetings

    • The team leader assigns the individual tasks, then He is in charge of putting together the individual contributions

    • Each team member does the work previously assigned .The team meetings are used to identify and resolve problems, to discuss on indivudal work, to get agreements about of solution and connect the individual contributions

  2. Choose the tasks that should be done before to meeting team, in order to get an effective team work?

    • The date and time of the meeting should be scheduled

    • Defining the moderator, defining the list of topics to be discussed and getting agreements on topics list

  3. In order to monitor the status of team activities, the proceedings of team meeting should include:

    • Compromises and responsibles, the attendance, the moderator and the proceedings author

  4. A reasonable duration for the team meeting:

    • 1 Hour

    • To discuss completly the agenda

    • 1 Hour and a half

    • 1/2 Hour
