 BIOGRAPHY

    Pedro Manuel Moreno Marcos is Associate Professor in the Department of Telematics Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He received his Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Technologies Engineering in 2015, his Master's Degrees in Telecommunication Engineering and Telematic Engineering in 2017 and his PhD in Telematic Engineering in 2020. All of them were obtained at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Moreover, he has obtained several awards, including the Extraordinary Awards in the Bachelor's Degree, both Master's Degrees and PhD, and other awards which recognize his academic achievements, his Master's Thesis and PhD Thesis. He has participated in more than 10 research projects and he is currently the Principal Researcher of two projects at regional and national level. In addition, he is IEEE Senior Member and track chair of IEEE DEMOCON 2026. Currently, he has made 18 publications in JCR-indexed journals and multiple contributions in other journals and conferences. His areas of research interest include learning analytics (LA), Educational Data Mining, AI in Education, and MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).
