 BIOGRAPHY

    Pedro Manuel Moreno Marcos is a PhD student and a pre-doctoral researcher through a FPU fellowship in the Department of Telematics Engineering at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He received his Bachelor in Telecommunications Technologies Engineering in 2015 as well as his Master Degrees in Telecommunication Engineering and Telematic Engineering, which were both obtained in 2017. All of them (bachelor and masters) were obtained at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Moreover, he has obtained several awards, including the Extraordinary Award as the student with the highest grades in both the Bachelor Degree (2015) and the two master degrees (2017), and the Excellence Award of the Social Council of UC3M in 2014. His areas or research interest include learning analytics, Educational Data Mining and MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), and his PhD focuses on prediction of learners' behaviors and indicators in online learning platforms.
